Welcome to POORTI (Platform for Online Ordering & Rural Transformation of India). The platform provides a multi-party mobile commerce platform in vernacular for easy ordering of fertilizers, pesticides, seeds (beyond a given value) by farmers with loans given by various banks. It will provide a source of earning to educated rural youth who can act as delivery agents.

For manufacturer/dealers/ cooperative societies, the fund will be transferred from the lending bank through mobile platform on acknowledgement of the receipt of such material by farmers. The platform links farmers/ farming needs with input suppliers and credit providers and generates employment and creates enterprises in Rural India.

Poorti Vision

To create a multi-lingual mobile commerce platform for farmers which will connect the banks, manufacturer, Insurer and the farmers of India by enabling digital transactions among all the parties involved. The platform will ensure timely payment for the manufacturers and will also be the information and learning portal for the farmers. It will not only take leading role in the transformation of modern India to a cashless society but also will create jobs for educated yet unemployed rural youth.
