The Poorti Standard
We put our name on what we checked.
Poorti is a food house. This is why anyone should use one: seven holds, the same for every member of the circle and every order, whichever door you came through.
The seven holds
Every maker
Approved
On paper: Each member is approved before it makes anything for you. Where the circle works is drawn on the Circle.
The specs
Scrutinised
On paper: Specifications are typical values, confirmed per lot on the certificate of analysis.
Your sample
Sealed
On paper: Sealed and sent for approval before anything is contracted.
The lot
Third-party inspected
On paper: Each lot carries its certificate of analysis.
Every document
Verified
On paper: Certificate of origin, health certificate, batch certificate of analysis, phytosanitary where required.
Shipment
On time
On paper: TBD · how it is recorded
All your needs
One house
On paper: You deal with one house. The circle does the rest.
What a gap looks like.
A report records what was observed, on the stated date, against the stated specification. Where something could not be seen or verified, it says so rather than passing over it.
The site works the same way. A price, a date or a count we have not confirmed shows as a marked gap, like the one beside this paragraph, never as a guess.
A real document, redacted
What the holds produce
An example of the paper behind the holds, with names and numbers removed.

Where the circle works.
The Circle shows the regions behind the house and what each one is known for. The same seven holds apply in every one of them.
