Terms and conditions.

Poorti Mandalam LLP, a food house in Ahmedabad, India. The house works through a circle of farmers, processors, manufacturers, laboratories and logistics partners. You deal with the house; the house chooses and manages the partners for your job.

Each offer is described on the Pricing page. The scope is what that description says, confirmed in writing when the house has what the job needs. Anything beyond it is quoted separately before it is done.

Prices in rupees exclude GST, which is added at the applicable rate on the invoice. Prices in US dollars are for clients outside India. Payment is taken through Razorpay or by bank transfer against an invoice. Government fees, travel and courier are charged at cost where an offer says so.

Where an offer says it is credited against another, the amount paid is deducted from that other offer if you buy it within 60 days.

Work on a job starts when your payment is received and you have sent your first material for it. What that means for cancellations is set out in the refund and cancellation policy.

Raise anything you are not satisfied with in writing within 7 days of delivery. After that the work is treated as accepted. Corrections are made through the rounds of changes the offer includes.

Where the house handles a shipment, it is booked on the incoterm agreed in writing (for example FOB, CIF, C&F or delivered to your door) through logistics partners in the circle. Freight, insurance, duties and taxes are charged at cost on top of the handling fee. Risk and responsibility pass as the agreed incoterm says.

You give accurate information and the material the job needs, and you tell us the market a product is for. Dates move if material arrives late or changes.

Label checks, document checklists, inspections and studies report what was found against the rules and information available on the date of the work. They are not legal advice, a certification or a guarantee of how an authority, marketplace or buyer will decide. The final decision on what goes on your pack and what you ship is yours.

Designs, recipes and documents made for you become yours once they are paid for in full. The house may keep a copy for its records and will not show it to others without your permission.

Your product, recipe, prices and plans are kept confidential and shared with a partner in the circle only as far as your job needs.

The house's liability for any job is limited to the fee paid for that job. The house is not liable for indirect losses such as lost profit or a lost order.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Ahmedabad have jurisdiction.
