Range · Farmer-grown

Grown by the farmers who need it most.

Global Vikas Trust works in some of the driest farming districts of Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat. It gives farmers saplings, training and water, and moves them from cotton and soybean to fruit trees and higher-value crops.

The trust's own figures, assessed by the Tata Institute of Social Sciences in January 2024, put the change in income at ten times per acre. That is the difference between a farm that survives a bad year and one that does not.

Poorti carries the products those farms grow and GVT makes. They go on Indian shelves under the GVT label or yours, and into export containers through the Source door, held to the same Poorti Standard as everything else the house handles.
